This past week has flown by with all the end of the school year activities . Yesterday was the official first day of summer break. I cannot believe that one week from today we will be getting on a plane starting on our journey to Haiti. As much as I think we are packed, I keep remembering that one last item I think we will need and reorganizing the suitcases. This week my focus will be getting the house together and the kids packed up to go to my mom's. I am also in this weird nesting mode. It's been like that show clean sweep around here but has helped keep me distracted from watching the ticking clock. We are looking forward to getting together with some friends from church tonight to pray for our trip. With so many things to pray for it is awesome to have a group of "prayer warriors " willing to take time out of their weekend to get together and pray and give support for all of us going to Haiti and our waiting children. Praying for another FAST week :)

I can belive we are so close to being in Haiti! I know what you mean we are at the store and i have picked up a few items and then i have to figure out how to fit it in the suitcases. see you guys in a week:)-Candice
